Community-developed White Papers
HRL Community-developed white papers address persistent problems of practice that emerge from basic research activities as well as through conversations and feedback from the Hive member community. Community white papers have substantive input and contributions from Hive practitioners at each phase of their development from topic selection to drafting of central ideas to editing and final refinement and represent collective, collaborative knowledge production.

Interim Briefs
HRL Interim Briefs are based on early observations and conceptualizations our team is coming up with. They’re designed to provide the Hive NYC community with ongoing frameworks, findings and recommendations as part of a broader effort to connect current research to issues of practical importance.

Jumpstarts
HRL Jumpstarts are concise tip sheets that aim to capture “good practices” of interest to the Hive NYC community. Jumpstarts combine the lab’s field observations of Hive members in action with understandings of what existing literature recommends in order to come up with “conjectures,” or best guesses, as to what might support the work of the Hive.
